With a new innovative merino wool blended fleece fabric, the Guide Mid Hood is one of the most technical fleece products on the market. Warm, wind-resistant, fast-wicking, stretchable and seriously comfortable, this is a jacket you can — and will — use for any activity, at any time, in any season.

Note: Sizing is built on our men’s fit block – for women, we suggest ordering one size smaller than usual.

    This is the perfect mid-layer for demanding outdoor activities. From ski-touring, free-skiing and alpinism in the winter, to climbing, hiking, trekking and biking in the summer.

    The new Guide Mid Hood is one of the most technical and comfortable fleece products on the market. The new fleece fabric is an amazing innovation containing 18% merino wool. It has a smooth and durable outside, and a super-soft and moisture-wicking inside. It is warm, wind resistant and extremely stretchable.

    The fabric is designed to effectively transport moisture away from the inside by capillary action, and to distribute it over a larger area on the outside, allowing it to evaporate faster.

    Asymmetric zipper at collar for increased comfort when layering.

    Two large chest pockets compatible with backpack and/or a harness.

    Extended back.

    Hood with adjustable opening.

    Paired with a highly breathable shell jacket, it will form a complete technical system keeping you warm and dry.

  • Main fabric: Italian Merino Blend – 76% polyester, 18% wool, 6% elastane. Non-mulesed wool from Australia.

    Breathability: Highly breathable, effectively transports moisture away from your body.

    Garment weight: S 465 g, M 537 g, L 550 g, XL 605 g, XXL 653 g.

    Center back length: S 70.5 cm, M 72.5 cm, L 75 cm, XL 77.5 cm, XXL 80 cm.

    Hood/collar: Fixed hood adjustable at front. Tilted zipper at collar to avoid discomfort when wearing several layers.

    Pockets: Two extra big zipped chest pockets with lining in stretch mesh for better comfort and breathability.

    Zippers: YKK zippers.

    Ventilation: No ventilation.

    Sleeves and cuffs: Pre-bent sleeves.

    Bottom hem: Not adjustable.

    Extra features: No shoulder seam for better comfort when wearing a backpack.

    You pay what you see. All duties and VAT are included in the total price for your order at checkout.

  • Fine wash the garment in cold water, maximum 30°C, by itself or with other garments in similar colors. Make sure to close all pockets and the front zipper. Do not use fabric softener.

    Hang dry after wash – do not tumble dry.
