When we launched the iconic Ultralight Down Program in 2015, it stood in a class of its own, without any real competition on the market, offering unparalleled performance and superior materials. Now, we introduce its successor. The new Ultralight Down Pants 2.0 are more durable with upgraded technical features, improved fit, and a reduced footprint while remaining as incredibly warm, lightweight and ultra-comfortable as their predecessor. Designed to be worn under your shell, these down pants features class-leading warmth and are built to keep you comfortable during fast-and-light missions in extremely cold conditions.

The Ultralight Down Pants 2.0 are covered in a Japanese technology 100% pre-consumer recycled 10-denier nylon ripstop, weighing a featherlight 28 g/m2 and so thin that you might even see the actual down clusters through the fabric. The fabric is DWR-treated making it water-resistant and dirt repellent. The side panels are made from 3D-knitted micro-fibre jersey that is extremely stretchable, breathable and fast-wicking, providing increased comfort and freedom of movement.

They are filled with premium 850 fill power European goose down that is proprietary, plasma-treated, and water-repellent, maintaining its insulation capability even when wet. It is also PFC-free, RDS-certified, bluesign®-certified, allergen-free, 100% recyclable and completely source track verifiable.

Full-length side zippers provide easy access. You can put them on and take them off without removing your boots, shoes or shell pants.

Insulation: HyperDRY™ 850 fill power goose down from Allied Feathers. PFC-free, RDS-certified, bluesign®-certified, allergen-free, 100% recyclable and completely source track verifiable.

Main fabric: 100% pre-consumer recycled, PFC-free and DWR-treated nylon ripstop. 28g/m2.

Main fabric denier: 10D.

Waterproofness: PFC-free, DWR-treated goose down. Water-resistant DWR-treated rip-stop (main fabric).

Breathability: Low. This is not a garment for high-pulse activities. The extremely lightweight main fabric is very tightly woven to not let out any down through the fibers. This leads to lower breathability but excellent insulation.

Down fill weight: S 42,5 g, M 48 g, L 53,5 g, XL 59 g.

Garment weight: S 183,3 g, M 201,1 g, L 213,9 g, XL 225,1 g.

Inseam length: S 49 cm, M 49 cm, L 51 cm, XL 51 cm.

Waist & belt configuration: Elastic waist with flat strings to adjust. On men’s there is a concealed fly zipper. Full side leg zippers for ease when taking off and on.

Wash & Care

Hand wash or cold water wash. Do not use fabric softener.

After wash, tumble dry the garment on low temperature until the garment is dry. Make sure to close all pockets and zippers. Place a couple of tennis balls in the dryer – this will help the down distributing evenly within the down clusters.
