    • 1000 fill power down provides unrivalled insulation performance.
    • A comfortable insulation layer for warmer conditions.
    • Minimalistic and ultra-packable, 167g in size M.

A minimalistic take on our popular Ultralight Down products, this jacket is perfect for warmer winter conditions and cooler off-snow weather.
Wear it under a shell when skiing, climbing or hiking, or as a stand-alone wind-resistant jacket at the belay.

The 1000 fill power platinum down we use is unique in its ability to insulate, it is only us and a handful of other companies in the world that can afford to use this amazing natural material. It can be compressed to a minimal package, and the sensation of warmth is immediate when you put it on. The down is also treated for water resistance which makes it more durable, while keeping you warm and dry even in the wet.

The shell material is a Japanese ultra-lightweight DWR-treated 34 g/m2 ripstop nylon that is so thin, you can distinguish the actual down clusters through the fabric. If you wear it as an outer garment, please note that although the ultralight fabric is durable for its weight, it can get torn by sharper objects.

  • 1000 fill power goose down insulation that is fluorocarbon free, RDS-certified, bluesign-certified, allergen-free, 100% recyclable and completely sourcetrack verifiable.

Ultralight DWR-treated outer fabric that is wind and water resistant.

One chest pocket, elastic cuffs and bottom hem.

Athletic fit, meant to go under a shell jacket. If you plan to wear it as a stand-alone jacket, consider choosing one size larger than you normally do.

  • Insulation: 1000 fill power goose down. IDFL test result 1030 US / 980+ EU, 98/2% quality. RDS and bluesign®-certified.

    Main fabric: Ultralight rip-stop – 100% nylon. 34g/sqm.

Main fabric denier: 10D * 20D. (This is a woven fabric in which the warp and weft have different denier numbers.)

    Lining fabric: See ”main fabric”.

    Down fill weight: S 40 g, M 43 g, L 46 g, XL 49 g, XXL 52 g.

    Waterproofness: PFC-free DWR-treated rip-stop (main fabric). Water-resistant goose down.

Breathability: Low. This is not a garment for high-pulse activities. The extremely lightweight main fabric is very tightly woven to not let out any down through the fibers. This leads to poor breathability but excellent insulation with a minimal down leakage.

    Garment weight: S 160 g, M 167 g, L 182 g, XL 204 g, XXL 215 g.

    Center back length: S 67.5 cm, M 69.5 cm, L 72 cm, XL 74.5 cm, XXL 77 cm.

Hood/collar: Collar with chin guard triangle.

    Pockets: One zipped chest pocket.

    Zippers: YKK zippers.

Sleeves and cuffs: Pre-bent and extra long sleeves for extra freedom of movement. Elastic cuffs.

Bottom hem: Elastic bottom hem. Extended back.

Note: Colors will differ slightly between different materials. The Stellar Shell Jacket will match the Stellar Shell Pant perfectly, but the Guide Shell Pant might not, because of differences in fabric texture and luminance. Contact customer service if you need advice.

  • Hand wash or cold water wash. Do not use fabric softner.

After wash, tumble dry the garment on low temperature until the garment is dry. Make sure to close all pockets and zippers. Place a couple of tennis balls in the dryer – this will make the down distributed evenly within the garment.
