Super-light and ultra-warm layering pants for use under a shell on colder days. Filled with unrivalled 1000 fill power down, this unique — and once experimental — product has become one of our most popular insulation garments.

    When launching this experimental product, we could never have foreseen how popular they would become, selling out repeatedly after each re-stock. Apparently there were more than us in need of super-light and ultra-warm insulation pants for colder days.

    The 1000 fill power platinum down is unique in its ability to insulate, but no-one has been crazy enough to ever use it for a pair of pants — until now. The sensation of warmth is immediate when you put them on. The down is also treated for water resistance which makes it more durable, while keeping you warm and dry even in the wet.

    The shell material is a Japanese ultra-lightweight DWR-treated 34 g/m2 ripstop nylon. The side zippers makes it possible to put them on and take them off them without removing your shell pants.

  • Insulation: 1000 fill power goose down. IDFL test result 1030 US / 980+ EU, 98/2% quality. RDS and bluesign®-certified.

    Main fabric: Ultralight rip-stop – 100% nylon. 34g/sqm. Stretch panels at sides in fleece fabric.

    Main fabric denier: 10D * 20D. (This is a woven fabric in which the warp and weft have different denier numbers.)

    Lining fabric: Ultralight rip-stop (see ”main fabric”).

    Down fill weight: Men’s S 51.5 g, M 56 g, L 57.5 g, XL 63 g, XXL 67 g. Women’s S 47 g, M 52 g, L 56 g, XL 59.5 g.

    Total Weight: Men’s L 206 g, XL 239 g. Women’s S 200 g, M 215 g, L 226 g, XL 238 g.

    Waterproofness: PFC-free DWR-treated goose down, Water-resistant DWR-treated rip-stop (main fabric).

    Breathability: Low. This is not a garment for high-pulse activities. The extremely lightweight main fabric is very tightly woven to not let out any down through the fibers. This leads to poor breathability but excellent insulation.

    Inner leg length: Men’s S 50 cm, M 52 cm, L 52 cm, XL 54 cm, XXL 54 cm. Women’s S 47 cm, M 49 cm, L 51 cm, XL 51 cm.

    Waist: Elastic waist adjustable with drawstring.

    Leg opening: Regular leg opening at 3/4 length that can be opened with zippers.

    Zippers: YKK zippers.

    Extra features: Stretch panels at sides for increased freedom of movement. Full-length zippers at sides makes it possible to put on and take off the Ultralight Down Pants without removing your boots, shoes or shell pants.

    Note: Colors will differ slightly between different materials. The Stellar Shell Jacket will match the Stellar Shell Pant perfectly, but the Guide Shell Pant might not, because of differences in fabric texture and luminance. Contact customer service if you need advice.

  • We ship every working day, and always do our very best to deliver your order within the timeframes listed. All orders placed before 12:00 (Monday-Friday) will be shipped the same day. Orders placed during weekends or holidays will be shipped the following work day (excluding public holidays). As soon as your order has left our warehouse, you will receive an email with the tracking number.

  • Hand wash or cold water wash. Do not use fabric softner.

    After wash, tumble dry the garment on low temperature until the garment is dry. Make sure to close all pockets and zippers. Place a couple of tennis balls in the dryer – this will make the down distributed evenly within the garment.
