    The Guide Shell is made for demanding alpine activities like big mountain freeriding, ski-touring expeditions, climbing and alpinism in extreme conditions.

    This 3-layer shell is made from a new material, developed in Japan, that will keep you totally protected from the elements. It is extremely durable while still offering great comfort, high flexibility, relatively low weight and uncompromising functionality.

    It is completely waterproof, very breathable and will endure any challenges that you might encounter during demanding activities in the mountains.

    The Guide Shell is a full-featured technical garment with a reductive design. This means that you have all the functionality needed, without any unnecessary details.

    This system is designed for those who spend long days on the mountain, carrying a backpack, using climbing gear and other equipment.

  • Extremely durable, completely waterproof, completely stormproof and highly breathable.

    Two large chest pockets with plenty of room for smartphone, bars or a small camera, easily accessed when wearing a backpack and/or a harness.

    Elongated pit zips quickly releases heat during aerobic activities like hiking and skinning.

    2-way-adjustable fixed hood that is helmet-compatible.

    Elongated cut with a straight fit for extra protection, and for staying tucked under a harness.

    Internal snow-gaiter system connects to all Stellar shell pants.

  • Main fabric: SEQ-Z650-3L – 3-ply, DWR-treated, 100% nylon. 166gr/sqm. Made in Japan.

    Main fabric denier: 70D*140D. (This is a woven fabric in which the warp and weft have different denier numbers.)

    Waterproofness: 20 000 mm.

    Breathability: 20 000 g/sqm/24h.

    Garment weight: Men’s M 662 g, L 689 g, XL 728 g, XXL 766 g.

    Center back length: S 74 cm, M 76 cm, L 78.5 cm, XL 81 cm, XXL 83.5 cm.

    Hood/collar: Fixed hood adjustable at front and at back. Extra high front of hood for maximum protection against the elements.

    Pockets: Two extra big zipped chest pockets, accessible with backpack and/or harness. One zipped upper arm pocket. One zipped mesh inner pocket.

    Zippers: YKK zippers. YKK Aquaguard™ technology used on all exposed zippers. Two-way zipper at front.

    Ventilation: Extra long zipped ventilation under arms, accessible with backpack.

    Sleeves and cuffs: Pre-bent and extra long sleeves for extra freedom of movement. Extra big cuff openings for easy closure. Cuffs adjustable with velcro.

    Bottom hem: Bottom hem adjustable with elastic drawstring.

    Snowgaiter: Internal snowgaiter with Stellar Closure System.

    RECCO: Jacket equipped with RECCO reflector in left sleeve.

    Extra features: Extra long at front.

    Note: Colors will differ slightly between different materials. The Stellar Shell Jacket will match the Stellar Shell Pant perfectly, but the Guide Shell Pant might not, because of differences in fabric texture and luminance. Contact customer service if you need advice.

Orders placed during weekends or holidays will be shipped the following work day (excluding public holidays).   • Fine wash the garments in cold water, maximum 30°C, by itself or with other garments in similar colors. Make sure to close all pockets and the front zipper. Do not use fabric softner.

    After wash, tumble dry or iron the jacket on low temperature to re-activate water-repellency.

    1) Add any shell jacket + any pair of shell pants to the shopping cart.
    2) Add one Unisex Seamless Base Layer to the shopping cart.
    3) Go to checkout. The full price for the base layer will automatically be reducted.
