Soft and stretchable yet durable, the Free Light Mid Hood is designed to keep you warm during high-pulse activities, while effectively transporting moisture away from your body.

    Our Light Mid products blend technical performance with everyday versatility perfectly. Stylish and comfortable, they’re suitable for relaxed traveling or high-pulse activities — from ski touring to beer pouring — keeping you cool without breaking a sweat.

    The amazing Fieldsensor™ material makes these products extremely versatile. Layer them for winter bootpacking or fall backpacking, for running or mountain biking in the summer. Actually, they’re so comfortable, you’ll probably end up wearing them all the time.

  • The Fieldsensor™ fabric from Japanese outdoor tech experts Toray has a great warmt-to-weight ratio, is compressible and quick-drying.

    Very durable and will last you a long time.

    The threads are made from fibres that are designed to transport moisture by capillary action.

    Silky-smooth outside for decreased rubbing when layering and is flossed on the inside for increased moisture evaporation and amazing comfort.

  • Main fabric: Fieldsensor™ – High-insulation moisture management fabric. 96% polyester, 4% elastane. Made in Japan.

    Breathability: Excellent. The fabric carries moisture quickly to the outer surface and disperses perspiration throughout the outer surface for rapid evaporation.

    Fabric weight: 188 g/m².

    Garment weight: S 343 g, M 371 g, L 388 g, XL 405 g, XXL 421 g.

    Center back length: S 70,5 cm, M 72,5 cm, L 75 cm, XL 77,5 cm, XXL 80 cm.

    Hood/collar: Fixed hood with double fabric for extra warmth.

    Pockets: One zipped chest pocket.

    Zippers: YKK zippers.

    Sleeves and cuffs: Regular sleeves with elastic tape at cuffs.

    Bottom hem: Elastic tape at bottom hem.

    Extra features: No shoulder seam for better comfort when wearing a backpack.

    You pay what you see. All duties and VAT are included in the total price for your order at checkout.

  • Wash the garment in cold water, maximum 30°C, by itself or with other garments in similar colors. Make sure to close all pockets and the front zipper. Do not use fabric softener.

    After wash, we recommend you to hang dry the garment – avoid tumble drying if possible.
