Featuring the world’s highest fill power goose down, outstanding insulation-to-weight ratio and a 100% recycled nylon fabric developed in Japan — this is a pinnacle of our expertise in insulation technology, and one of the lightest specialists down jackets in the world.

    The Guide Hyperlight Down Hood is a minimalistic and uncompromising specialist garment designed for extreme conditions, made from the finest materials available while adhering to our highest environmental standards. It is incredibly lightweight, extremely packable with unrivaled insulation capability. Designed to be worn as a light-and-fast insulation layer when temperatures drop or as a stand-alone hoodie for that coffee break en route to the summit. 

    At 262 g (size M), this is one of the world’s lightest down hoodies, with an outstanding down-to-weight ratio of 40%. The hoodie is filled with previously unattainable 1010 fill power 98/2-quality ethically sourced European goose down that is RDS-certified, Bluesign-certified and PFC-free. It is covered in a Japanese technology 100% pre-consumer recycled 10-denier nylon ripstop, weighing a featherlight 28 g/m2 and so thin that you can see the actual down clusters through the fabric.

    The Guide Hyperlight Down Hood is a unique specialist garment, representing a pinnacle of our expertise in cutting-edge insulation technology. You will have a hard time finding a comparable product from any other brand.

    As an alternative to down fill insulation, we also offer fully synthetic products, such as the Stellar Primaloft Hood.

    Insulation: 1010 fill power European goose down from Allied Feather & Down. This ethically sourced down is RDS-certified, bluesign®-certified, OEKO-TEX® Standard100-certified, fluorocarbon-free and completely source track verifiable via printed lable in garment.

    Waterproofness: PFC-free DWR-treated goose down, Water-resistant PFC-Free DWR-treated main fabric.

    Down fill weight: S 95,3 g, M 101,9 g, L 108,8 g, XL 116.2 g, XXL 123,9 g

    Garment weight: S 247 g, M 263 g, L 275 g, XL 287 g, XXL 300 g

    Center back length: S 67,5 cm, M 69.5 cm, L 72 cm, XL 74.5 cm, XXL 77 cm.

    Hood/Collar: Helmet compatible hood with elastic opening.

    Pockets: Two big zipped chest pockets.

    Zippers: YKK zippers.

    Sleeves and cuffs: Elastic closure.

    Bottom hem: Straight cut without adjustment.

    Note: Colors might differ slightly between different materials due to differences in fabric texture and luminance.

    Note: Down garments will be compressed on delivery. They may need up to 72 hours to regain their shape and to loft completely.

  • For EU + Norway customers: All orders placed before 12:00 CET (Monday-Friday) will be shipped the same day. For all non EU customers: All orders placed before 10:00 CET (Monday-Friday) will be shipped the same day.

    Please see chart below for shipping cost and estimated delivery times. Orders placed during weekends or holidays will be shipped the following work day (excluding public holidays). As soon as your order has left our warehouse, you will receive an email with the tracking number. The delivery times listed here are only estimations, shipping times may differ between regions. During the checkout process you will be informed about the exact shipping times and available shipping methods.

  • Hand wash or cold water wash. Do not use fabric softener.
    After wash, tumble dry the jacket on low temperature until the jacket is dry. Make sure to close all pockets and the front zipper. Place a couple of tennis balls in the dryer – this will make the down distributed evenly within the jacket.
