The Granbom Gap

This November was the coldest and snowiest in Åre, Sweden in modern times, and with this comes joy and creativity. New spots, especially gaps, are fascinating to hit. Will you make it over or smash the wall and become a part of it? Before Emil Granbom got the idea to fly over this particular ravine, no one (apart from some local ptarmigans and one or two black ravens) had done it before him. But it’s all math. Angles, speed, and distance are on one side of the equation, and on the other, Emil. So, what happened? This short piece will give you the correct answer. Press play and enjoy some imagery from a moment in time called Snowember and a spot called The Granbom Gap.
