_Introducing the lightest solid material known to man.
_A innovative combination of aerogel insulation and merino-wool fleece.
_Lightweight mid hoodie that can be used for layering or as a stand-alone jacket.

Originally developed by NASA for use in aeronautical applications, Aerogel is composed of more than 95% air, and has the lowest thermal conductivity of any known substance. This hybrid mid layer is the worlds first using aerogel technology. Combining merino wool fleece panels with silica aerogel insulation panels and a DWR-treated ultralight shell fabric, it provides a unique combination of weather protection, breathable comfort, lightweight insulation and freedom of movement. This is the perfect mid-layer for demanding outdoor activities. From ski-touring, free-skiing and alpinism in the winter, to climbing, hiking, trekking and biking in the summer.

Aerogel is composed of more than 95% air, making it the lightest solid substance, with the lowest thermal conductivity, known to man. This innovative technology by Primaloft is called Cross Core™, incorporating silica aerogel in insulation fibres for the first time. The merino wool blend fleece is incredibly soft, warm and stretchable, effectively transporting moisture away from you body. The ultralight DWR-treated outer fabric is wind and water resistant. Two large chest pockets compatible with backpack and/or a harness. Extended back. Large hood with adjustable opening.

Layering is everything

Every product we create, down to the very last detail, is part of a technical layering system — finely tuned to perform during demanding physical activities in shifting alpine conditions.

A complete Stellar Equipment System will transport moisture away from your body, fast and efficient, while keeping you warm and dry at all times. It also permits materials to move freely over each other for maximum comfort, function and freedom of movement.

Layering is everything when it comes to high performance outerwear: Performance, comfort, energy, safety and durability.
