W Ultralight Down Hood

1000 fill power goose down insulation that is fluorocarbon free, RDS-certified, bluesign-certified, allergen-free, 100% recyclable and completely sourcetrack verifiable.

Ultralight DWR-treated outer fabric that is wind and water resistant.

Fixed hood that fits over most helmets.

One chest pocket and two hand pockets insulated on the outside keeping hands and smart-phones protected and warm.

Ultra-packable, one hand pocket doubles as a stow-bag, forming a minimal package.

Athletic fit, meant to go under a shell jacket. If you plan to wear it as a stand-alone jacket choose one size larger than you normally do.

Main fabric: Ultralight rip-stop – 100% nylon. 34g/sqm.

Main fabric denier: 10D * 20D. (This is a woven fabric in which the warp and weft have different denier numbers.)

Lining fabric: See ”main fabric”.

Down fill weight: Women’s S 77 g, M 84 g, L 91 g, XL 99 g.

Waterproofness: PFC-free DWR-treated goose down, Water-resistant DWR-treated rip-stop (main fabric).

Breathability: Low. This is not a garment for high-pulse activities. The extremely lightweight main fabric is very tightly woven to not let out any down through the fibers. This leads to poor breathability but excellent insulation.

Garment weight: Women’s S 251 g, M 263 g, L 279 g, XL 284 g.

Center back length: Women’s S 62.5 cm, M 65 cm, L 67.5 cm, XL 70 cm.

Hood/collar: Fixed hood adjustable at front.

Pockets: One zipped chest pocket. Two zipped hand pockets whereof one doubles as stow bag.

Zippers: YKK zippers.

Ventilation: No ventilation.

Sleeves and cuffs: Pre-bent and extra long sleeves for extra freedom of movement. Elastic cuffs.

Bottom hem: Bottom hem adjustable with elastic drawstring. Extended back.

Snowgaiter: No snowgaiter.

RECCO: No RECCO reflector.

Extra features: Can be stowed into its own pocket (zipper works two ways in one of the hand pockets).

Special conditions Chile
Orders to Chile are shipped on a DAP (Delivered-at-Place) basis. All taxes and duties are excluded from the order price. Your order may be subjected to local taxes and import duties. Stellar Equipment does not cover taxes or duties for orders shipped to Chile.

Hand wash or cold water wash. Do not use fabric softener.

After wash, tumble dry the garment on low temperature until the garment is dry. Make sure to close all pockets and zippers. Place a couple of tennis balls in the dryer – this will make the down distributed evenly within the garment.
